Personally, I think you may have already surpassed him.
So, if FFVII is the second best, what's the best?
(Please believe that I'm not attempting to start a flame war or anything else. I'm simply curious, as I am a huge FF fan of the NON-'my-way-or-the-h\ighway' variety.)
I also really liked XII, although I would have to say the original X is my fave. Many of the Compilation of VII games are really good, too, and I adored XIII (though I haven't finsihed it). ...Then again, I've never really met a Final Fantasy I hated...
